Using an inspection mirror... Wheels are rarely removed on normal servicing, simply because you don't need to. It doesn't show you anything you can't already see... In a service, the car is up on a lift and the wheels are taken off.
I get videos to prove it from my dealer.
You can see the pads, discs, what else need you see?
