Embarrassing Question

Alright boys, feel free to slate me.

I've just passed my test in September and bought a 2011 1.2 TDI and have recently started modding it (Grill, tint and general repairs so far).
I love the car however hate the look of the back window and want mod it to look more modern however I have no idea what the thing circled in the photo I've attached is called.

I've been googling for like 3 hours now and cant find anything that describes it. I've tried "Rear Spoiler, Auxiliary break light house, etc.." and still cant find anything.

Can one of you esteemed gents please put me out my misery and tell me what it is and if you could link anything that shows how to remove it or know of any good sites to get a replacement I'd really appreciate it.

The thing on the back is the spoiler. It's attached with double sided tape. You can remove it but it takes some time. If you're careful it will come off without any noticeable damage

If its bonded with double sided tape, use sewing string or dental string just double it, and use it like a hand saw to cut thru the double sided tape.
