One thing thing that may be worth a go is use a cheapo borescope to get in behind the panel. Cheapo ones that you plug into your phone can be had for under £20. Stand alone around £40. Doesn't necessarily mean you will be able to get at it of fix it. But at least you might spot where it's sneaking in.

Or, has the windscreen ever been replaced and so not sealed properly.

On the righthand-side of the windscreen, the rubber trim is not fixed properly against the bottom edge of the windscreen - but it is fixed properly on the bottom lefthand-side and middle.

Or has there been any crash damage repair on that side and panel seam sealer not been done correctly.

The mechanic has noticed it’s had a replacement wing at some point and suggested the same as you - maybe the seam sealer has not been done correctly.
Should I simply spray all the seams with a sealer?

Cavity wax might be worth a go as it has a degree of creep into cracks and such. The Bilt Hamber stuff is supposed to be pretty good. All going to be a bit hit and miss unless you can isolate the source of the leak.
