Is opening your boot the 'normal' way, REALLY that much effort?

Did anyone get anywhere with this? I'm looking to get one of the auto-opening boot kits but could do with some recommendations.

try installing seat leon pins. in mk6 golf it works with only just them.

2x Skoda Fabia Gas Struts 6Y0 827 550 C
2x Seat Leon Ball pins 1J6 827 439 A
