2012 VW Polo - EPC, Traction control and tyre pressure lights

Post by tiaan_swart »

Good day,

I've got a 2012 VW Polo 1.2 Petrol that is giving me warnings on the dash at the moment.

When I start the car all the lights are off. After a while of driving the EPC light goes on, the is followed later by the traction control light and the tyre pressure light. The car then goes into limp mode with no power.

I've checked all the tyres presures, which are fine.

Any thoughts? (Im taking the car in for diagnostic later this week)

Thanks.

Difficult to say. Might be something as small as a broken wire on one of the ABS sensors.

What was the problem in the end? We're having a similar intermittent occurrence of the EPS, traction control and tyre pressure lights coming on.

The plug going into the trottle pedal made a bad connection causing two sensors to read different voltages. Try to unclip it and put it back...and see what it does
