What tyre pressures do you run for daily?
Front and rear...

Thanks

Feasible I'll get through the entire tenure of my car without replacing any tyres.
But, crikey, it is some astounding difference in prices between the sizes.

Was mulling over the size issue when purchasing some winter tyres this week.
Went for standard as the cost wasn't that much more than the 225/40 and I was only doing the fronts.
If I'd been doing all four I'd have probably gone for 225/40.

I’m thinking about changing to 225 and checked the clearance in the rear wheel arch and I have about 15mm clearance between the 215 tyre and the lining - is this enough or do I have the same lining issue as others and the 225 will rub unless fixed (although the lining looks well fitted and no give currently when I try and move it). Help appreciated thanks

I have double that clearance on mine. Seems rather a tight gap on yours.

Hi guys,

Does anybody feel like the polo with 225/40/18s has lost a lot of traction in corners due to the tyre change?

This is not the case for me but then I don't race around corners really. That said I feel the vehicle has better traction off the line although that could also just be because Michelin is a better tyre compared to factory fitted (noisy) Bridgestone.
