First post on this forum, so bare with me..
We just purchased a 2013 Polo GT and I really miss the auto setting on light switch. Stopped by a junk yard today an got a light switch from a 6C, but notice the symbols does not line up correctly....not compatible with my OCD at all
How did you sort that in you Polo?

My OCD was satisfied by swapping the entire dashboard.
But I'll spare you the disappointment you'll have, the 6C light switch is not electrically compatible with the 6R. So better get the Golf Mk6 light switch 3C0/3C8...
I made a hybrid with the 6C housing and the 3C internals.

Hi til3tsio,
Thank you for your effort, everything went well. The speedometer works perfectly and I no longer have an error message. Thank you iichels for your help and that we could use your blog.

It's a pleasure to help others.
I reuploaded the file with a small fix to your fuel curves and fuel warning indicator so make sure to download it again.
Also you have to transfer your adaptation map from the old one so the service intervals and other settings are true on the new one .
* Sorry iichel, we highjacked your thread

Hi
wow all the mods you have done are amazing...I was curious to know can a digital dash cluster be fitted to a 6C GTI? I have seen them on aliexpress for MK6 MK7 CC but not a Polo
cheers

I doubt it... but ask yourself... should you fit an aliexpress cluster to an otherwise nice car?

Hi iichel,
On the sport suspension button, does it also stiffen up the steering?
I'm now retrofitting the electric power steering (same as yours) into my 6J ibiza and would love to have the adjustable steering stiffness.
Is the sport suspension button the way to go? and if so do you have any rough ideas as to whats needed for just the steering as I don't need the DCC
Thanks!

Yes, the steering feedback is also changed. You can't have the DCC module without the dampers, the system won't work.

You can set the steering feedback 'programme' via VCDS. On the fly adjustment is not as easy.
