Sorry, it’s a ‘No’ from me 👎.

The linked article raises the issue of whether the GTI logo should live on in the electric era. As the ‘I’ (or should that be ⚡️) in GTI stands for ‘injection’ as in fuel (petrol) injection, it could be argued it shouldn’t, as electric cars don’t - and won’t - have such a fuel injection system.

Maybe sports/performance models of VW’s BEV’s should be badged GTX after all 🤔.

Electric holds absolutely no appeal for me.
A friend got rid of his electric BMW for a new petrol version and a guy I know who worked for Tesla let his car go when changing jobs, said more trouble than they are worth and bought a brand new Audi petrol.
So my car won't be badged like that anytime soon.
