H&R lowering springs review

I've got myself a 1.6TDI Polo AW and I'm looking for some H&R springs. Actually the 28711-2 set (35mm drop). Do I need new dampers as well? I saw that for Eibach sportline it is recommended to have new dampers as well.

Does anyone tried the H&R in the non GTI? Everything I saw here was mostly on GTI spec.
Also some pictures would be great.
