Drivers door central locking issue

Post by Duc748 »

Hi to all. Found this loose wire within the rubber boot on the drivers side a pillar. It appears to go to the middle multi plug but have no idea where this should go to as all pin connections are taken for ?
Kind regards

Are you 100% sure that this wire does not belong in the connector?
Does everything work on that side on the door? Window, speaker lock, doorlight etc?

It looks like it's orange/brown, right? In that case it would be the CAN bus low.

It doesn't matter if the vehicle is RHD or LHD, It is always contact terminal 16 of the 21-pin connector.
