Rear Suspension Strut Spring Plate and Mount

Hi,

After removing the rear struts to replace the rear springs on my 2001 6n2 Polo GTI I now need to replace the top spring cups (6N0512113) and the top spring mounts (6N0512149), however I'm been totally unable to find the latter.

The parts I need are number 10 and 5 in the image below, item no. 10 is the one i can't find anywhere, any help would be much appreciated!

I've tried VW, Autodoc, Ebay, and other online vendors with no luck so far....

I just read your other post. To be honest, I think the chance of you getting hold of these parts might be very slim. And if you find them, they are probably second hand and deteriorated to a certain extent. After all, we are talking about a 20+ year old car. You might get lucky, so I hope you find the parts. You could try a breakers yard.

Have you considered replacing the oem shocks with coilovers?
