I bought a used Polo Life and this is the only thing I’d maybe like to change. I don’t have the VW Nav and so can’t get any nav guidance on the standard digital cockpit.

Has anyone upgraded from Digital Cockpit to Digital Cockpit Pro after purchase? & how much did this cost?

I don’t think either digital cockpit uses CarPlay for nav. It only uses VWs in built systems from my experience.

Behind the steering wheel it is only the images of satnav from VW itself.
With just the discover (so not the discover PRO) when using the main radio unit for the map you get the instruction images on the AID.
Same with carplay navigation, no map display on AID
