Course you would be able to do stuff to it.. half the point of a project car is that you can tear it apart, rebuild it, learn as you go and not have to worry about being able to get to work the next morning. Plus, mk1/2 golfs and mk1/2/3 polos are a huge amount easier to learn to work on than your 6n2 - massive bonnet space, simple layout and barely any electronics to deal with. It's not hard to learn what you're doing if you spend a bit of time playing around with itc) I wouldn't be able to do anything to the car so I'd be shipping it off to JBS for them to do it for me...not much of a project car eh?
Are we talking polos or golfs here?!Gareth_GT_Hatch wrote:There was a 1043cc mk2 early on according to the parkers review of the mk2 and there was prob an 895cc mk1, the golf cabrio is a mk1 afterall...a mk2 cabrio is based on the mk3 golf
