lol me neither to be honest - in manc in the rock clubs you cant avoid the emo kids
(defined by listening to emo music, emotive hardcore, which in my opinion came out of hardcore punk bands like Minor Threat in the 80s (like english punk as you know it, with shorter songs and more screaming) and then started with bands like Fugazi - but which today typically means screamo bands such that play punk music, sing normally and then scream like hell at various parts - Refused and 36 Crazy Fists is what they're always playing in the clubs in manc, but I believe its Dash Board Confessionals that defines emo. More so defined by the dress code, much like chavs have their uniform then the gorgous emo kids have style rules, admittidly a lot better (emo girls mmm) that include volcom things, belt buckles, studdded belts, low riding pants (very low) and trucker caps)

er
what does it sound like then
is it anything like techno?
marylin manson?
bon jovi?
jims big ego?
m j hibbett?
...coldplay?????????????
damn that reminds me it's been cocking ages since i've had a quality rock night - last one i tried to get into i was turned away because of lack of NUS (the bouncers getting tight with the checking for the first time in 4 years - sods). the drunken 3am excursion to some random goth place in edinburgh not counting (though impromptu air guitareoke to union underground on the jukebox after one too many tennents comes highly reccommended)
graaaah...!
