Hi quiksilver99,
Do you have rain-light sensor?
What is the
tenth letter of your VIN?

quiksilver99, as you well pointed me at first your Polo is the facelift (6C), however because you also wrote 6R I made you the questions.
My automatic light kits are only for Polo 6R, not for 6C. I'm sorry sincerely and I appreciate your interest.
Hopefully someone make a automatic light kit (OEM) for models Polo 6C, for now I do not know anyone who does.
The light and rain sensor is needed in any case.
greetings

Nice mod, interested in doing this mod on my WRC (year 2014, E in chassis code). Does your kit come with light switch for front fog lights? I don't want to have the front fog light mode on my switch since the car doesn't have front fogs, on the other hand maybe I should add some non-OEM fog lights at some point in the future so then it makes sense to get a switch for fog lights
Also, apart from the "Auto" mode, do other modes still function as before? By that I mean:
-In "0" mode, do the DRL LEDs turn on when ignition is on?
-In parking light mode, do the DRL LEDs turn on at half power?

Hello cheba,
Longtime several WRCs in Europe have installed my OEM wiring for automatic lights,
all lights work exactly like from factory (perfectly) plus CH, LH, automatic lights.
Including all functions of LEDs module. (and others you can code with VCDS
)
I explain to you by parts because
WRC and BlueGT (without fog lights from factory) just need a model of wiring with a relay for the high beam, but as my wirings are absolutely compatible, you can install the wiring that I make with system of two relays without problems. (it can also be used in the future if you want to install some model of fog lamps)
Initially would just be necessary that you plug one relay on relays adapter.
Light Switch
You can install both models that are available for automatic lights.
Both operate correctly with my wirings.
- With option for fog lights. These are the ones I have.
- Without option for fog lights.
You have to buy in the vw dealer with the reference number on the image due to I have not this model of light switch.
Relays
I send you two universal relay together with wiring although only need one on your current WRC. (no fog)
VCDS
Very easy, you send me a current log (autoscan vcds), I send you the new codings, and you enter codings as explained in the installation guide.
Installation
You have the installation guide in the first page, plus, I send you other basic information and of course you have my support throughout the process.
So you have two options:
1- Buy the full kit.
99 € incl shipping and
Paypal fees.
http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 09#p478298
2- Buy only the wiring with two universal relays.
75 € incl shipping and
Paypal fees.
+ + VCDS coding
...with this option
you have to buy the light switch at the vw dealer.
---------------------
With previously I had wirings of a single relay for the sale, but sold out. Its price was 75€, so you wins because you get the wiring for two relays (with option of foglights for the future) and these are the last units that I sell.

Thank you for the explanation ciclo! I would like to do the mod at some point, though I don't have VCDS at the moment, but planning to get it soon. I might wait to buy the parts until then.
Is the wiring an OEM part? Just wondering in case your kits are sold out by the time I get VCDS and I have to gather the parts myself.
iichel wrote:would be a nice mod, WRC with front fogs
Yeah I would love to do it, haven't seen a WRC street car with fogs so it would be kind of unique. The real WRC car has it on some rallies:

Shame the street car doesn't have it though. The side openings in the bumper aren't functional anyway since they are completely covered. I was thinking a pair of Hella Micro DE's in the openings would look nice. Though I would like an extra pair of black covers to cut holes in, to preserve the original ones.

The wiring is not sold on the vw dealers.
VW dealers sell all parts and then you have to make it.
Interesting mod to install Hella Micro DE's on WRC, certainly would be unique your WRC with them.

HOLA CICLO
Anthony

Hello
Switeo13009,
I greatly appreciate that you contact with me for these issues, but I do not make this type of work, and if I could make them, I would not charge you anything for my work. The important thing for me is not money,
is time, and I do not have much time lately.
In the French forum, some users have installed High or Maxx BCM to install xenon headlights and automatic lights, perhaps, the best is that you talk to them.
I'm sorry sincerely and again I appreciate the effort that you made to contact me.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
Fernando.

Excuse me for this question by this way.
I like to know if automatic lights in my 6R is possible.
I have the letter E in VIN number
I have 1.6 TDI with DSG
I have Halogen headlights
I have rain and light sensor
i DON'T have Start-Stop
I read somewhere (grgr i didn't save the link) that when you have module 7L3, it is possible to have auto lights ?
Is this enough to answer my question?
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Greetings,
Jef Dams aka Jefjefje

Hi jefjefje,
7L6 and 7L8 are with start-stop system, bluemotion, in which it is possible to install automatic lights if you have the light sensor. The entire electrical installation of the lights on the BlueMotion make it possible.
To 7L3, you need xenon headlights from factory besides of the light sensor. With factory xenon, the entire electrical installation of the lights is similar to that of the BlueMotion.
Note: Factory xenon is not the same as original xenon installed later.
So with your current entire electrical installation of lights you can not install the automatic lights OEM.
Thank you very much for your interest and sincerely sorry for you, you have provided all information correctly.
Best regards.
Fernando
