To be honest I've got some tape at home to do that with but still can't decide what will look best grill wise! Thanks for the offer though!
The wheels are:
Fronts: 17x7J ET55 with 25mm spacers

Rears: 17x8.5J ET50 with 20mm spacers

Well a bit of an update!
Arms fixed and starting to get movement back out of it ;D

And the new exhaust is burning in nicely and producing a sweet note with a few pops and burbles here and there.

Got a few new shots at the weekend too

And tonight I came up with a more permenant fitting of my gauges using a bit of plastic I had in the garage

Well the Polo went in to my dad's garage this week for a service, cambelt and a few other little issues, one being an annoying knocking noise from the rear of the car which I had put down to the rear top mounts. Turns out all the suspension components are fine along with all the other mechanical stuff so it looks like a big interior strip to try and find it :(

Next on the cards is a re-map and possibly a de-cat downpipe but I'm not sure if I want to make it any louder. Going to have a go at fitting cruise control as well as the girlfriend has moved to Barnsley for a job and its killing me driving here! Been thinking about doing something interior wise, maybe a re-trim in leather but keeping the interlagos centres...

The polo should also be appearing in the built not bought section of PVW in the coming months B)

Quick Question

Have you still got the K&N 57i induction on, and how does it sound? Just thinking about purchasing one myself :)

Yeh I'm still running it. It sounds pretty good, gives you a good dump valve noise, but still not overly loud. I'd say it’s a good set-up providing you get a nice airflow to it by doing the seat intake mod or modding the stock one like I did

No problem pal! If you un bolt the intake from where it sits behind the grill, then split it in half you will see a sort of flap which causes a restriction (it’s there to stop water getting into your airbox) All I did was remove it and smooth it all out using a dremel. there is also a gap when the two parts are together which would let the air escape instead of flowing through to the filter, so I just used some plastic I had, cut it to shape and bonded it in place to seal it all up so that any air entering is forced down the pipe (supplied with the k&n) and onto the filter. Suppose if your confident modding it then buying one isnt worth it, but if your not then it is...

Thanks! As they say imitation is the best form of flattery haha but if you buy porsche wheels I will hunt you down haha
