Robz,
I reckon i'll be heading off at 6am so that i get there early enough, AA route planner says it should take around 5 hours (going at the speed limit) so giving myself an hour or so for getting lost i hope to get there for 12.00.

Me and the bird are thinking of turning up on the friday night - is there a specific UK-Polos area to aim for, or not? How many others are going down on friday?

Right....I thought i would remind everyone about meeting places for the convoy down the m1.
Junction 28 m1, i will be there for about 9:45am so keep an eye out for either my saloon or madmatts black mk2 coupe.
Meeting time is 10am but should anyone be running that bit late we will hang on until around 10:30am to make sure we don't miss anyone.
If anyone is going to be late or has any other problems on the day then please contact me on 07787761759 to let me know.
Don't forget tooth brushes, towels and teddy bears (its dark in a tent),and please drive carefully! i don't want to be convoying to anyones funeral in the near future.

I will take a note of your number and find out where you guys are when i get close.
I was nearly not coming, the car has been running like a bag of **** this week and was showing a lot of errors on the diagnostic machine so it had to go into VW today to get checked. But it's being sorted now, new throttle body and breather valve. So hopefully running like a dream now, better be for £200!!
