With vcds 12.xx.x it are displayed on the dropdown panel, with vcds 11.11.3 is not indicated and we must find the Channels with up and down buttons.
The time is indicated in seconds and is possible until 60 sec. I finally got 25 sec for leaving home, 15 sec for coming home.

The reason for this "quote" is to keep the information here.

Automatic Light:
The main lights come on when the light threshold is appropriate.
Leaving Home:
Unlock the car with the remote control, then dipped beam (or fog lights), side lights, license plate lights come on for the set time.
Coming Home:
Turn off the ignition, then pull the high beam stalk once (flash), now when you open the door dipped beam (or fog lights), side lights, license plate lights come on for the set time.
============================ Set time:
To change the set time is on channels 47 and 48 Adaptation or Adaptation UDS from the drop panel.
This can be up to 60 seconds, but I think it's best not to put more than 30 seconds, the battery will wear less. http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 05#p474349
I need to know the tenth letter of the VIN to send the correct wiring. This indicates the "Model Year".
For example: WVWZZZ6RZDYXXXXXX D = MODEL YEAR 2013
(A=2010, B=2011, C=2012, E=2014)
VIN you can find in a small window of the windshield, driver's door on B-pillar, or also in autoscan with VCDS.

What is the current situation with auto lights installed to car with xenons, rain sensor, start-stop and only rear foglight. Is the Kufatec kit still a valid option?

I have the kufatec kit installed. The only problem two problem I have had is that the High beams didn't work after install but was corrected with a bit of coding, And the rear foglight didn't work anymore. Couldn't get the foglught working so I bought a taillight with reverselight from a RHD model (mine is LHD) and I instead made reverselight on sides instead of the foglight which I have never in my life used anyway on any of my cars.
Here's the result:

This wouldn't be road legal. Is there any solution to keep rear foglight working? High beams are of course mandatory as during winter time 95% of driving happens at dark.

matti, I have not the Kufatec wiring.
I did my wiring and now I'm going to redo as you see in the diagram.

How is your wiring different from Kufatec?
Also, what is causing the rear foglight issue? How is start-stop involved in this mess?
