I have a situation.. I am gonna retrofit a light- and rainsensor on my Polo Bluemotion from 2011..

Now i want also automatic light, just the same way you retrofitted yours with an extra cable set.. I understood from @iichel that i need to change the long coding and you could help me with change the coding..

New BCM 089F does not detect reverse light wire. FYI white connector T73b/12. Your car not have this wire from factory, like Polo 6R with factory xenon or BlueMotion.
It works in your car due to it have direct power supply from reverse light switch.

Try these codings, for now they should solve the problem of reversing light (but this is a trick, is not the real solution). They are also an attempt to make your fog lights with cornering light working correctly. But until you properly connect the wiring it does not make much sense.

Tell us the results.

When you install the original xenon headlights you should migrate your current fog lights wiring to static cornering lights (on xenon), and make new wiring from Light switch--->fuse SB54---> up to foglights.

There are also other settings for automatic or DSG, they have no reverse light switch. Only T73b/12.

No. The cruise control systems are very different, you have to find a steering wheel without buttons for cruise control.
