Love those seats! They look almost identical to the rs4 recaros, never thought about the corsa seats! Was it difficult to make/fit the custom runners?

to be fair the 312's i have now with the Tarox pads are far to much

When breaking from high speed it stops no messing, i'm talking if you hit them to hard you may hit the windscreen so i can only imagine that with the Brembos and slightly larger discs i may have to fit the 256mm rears to help compensate for the extra disc diameter.

When i first joined this forum others had mentioned that with 312mm fronts and std rears the car had heavy front breaking but once the 256mm rears were fitted the breaking felt more balanced.

I now understand what they meant so want to fit 256mm rears.

Another thing on the list of things to do.

One thing is i can only do one thing at a time

Go for it wheels make the car and too many polos with comps. Lovely wheels but cant be going to shows and we all got the same wheels lol

The Golf Edition 30 came with half leather, tartan centres & red stitching that's where i got the idea.



Was going to do this to my std seats but i just couldn't hold back the need for my new seats so will do it to these instead.

I also cant wait to have it finished but think it will be a while yet.

Very easy to fit.

The Corsa frames have a shorter width than the Polo, so got four plates made (2two per seat) that bolt to the frames then into the vw bolt holes

Some guy in the for sale section has some 256 rears for sale mate

Did you weighted the stock seats? How much they weight?

Ahhh I see looks good! That was it keeps the trademark tatan. I had a look at those adapters didnt relise they wer so cheep, I dont know what made be belive they were so expansive in the 1st place. I have a white gti the comps are getting powdercoated white on wednesday. I'l keep then for winter then source new wheels me thinks. Cheers man! Keep us updated

Thinking about it, do the plates raise the height of the seats much compared to the standard ones? Also how is the Driving position in general?

The plates i used are around 5/6mm think so yes they do but that's ok coz i am only short lol.

+ the seats have adjustable height so can be adjusted as per the standard seats.

For me the driving position is great and all the people i have let sit in them and test drive the car have had no issues.

Not saying this is the only way to do it it was just the way i was happy to do it.

i know the back seat weighs about almost 35Kg

Any updates on this mate been looking regular in hope there is but doesn't seem to be owt yet, keep up the good work though

There are but i need to take some pics and upload.
