25mm is pretty extreme, especially for the front but it should give you a nice stance when you fit the coilovers
I would avoid going too low though otherwise its going to scrub like mad

Fookin eck 25mm is a lot. I'm thinking to stagger mine but it will be something more like 10 rear 15 at a push and 5 front all my arches are rolled but not flared.

Yeah if your running the standard 15" BBS rims then its not too bad because they are only 6J so you can just about get away with 25mm spacers.

15mm would have been a better choice for the front though

well im not going low low just enough to get rid of the horrid gap between the wheel and the arch, should still be enough room for the wheels to turn freely and I think the stance on the front end is mad lol

Looking good :-) 25 is good choice but don't go too low else you'll defo scrub going thru dips! I've got 15mm all round and they scrub a bit when go through dips but no scrubbing when turnin tho :-)

Well I on Thursday I was going to do my coilovers... only to find that my locking wheel nut key had gone missing! So instead I had to spend the time sorting that out and then didn't have time... so did them today :)

Didn't take many pictures as I kinda just wanted to get on with it lol! took me a few hours and it's a bit to low on the front but that can be sorted tomorrow! to late now haha anyway here is how it stands... bit dark though...

also the other day I removed the PVW sticker from the bonnet, the colin mcrae sticker and DC sticker from the back and placed this on the window

Will take more pics tomoz after the custom exhaust has gone on :D

Looks good from the side mate, looks like a nice tidy ride height

Be nice to see some pictures from the front & back with those spacers fitted though :)

Yeah mate always best to get the car 4 wheel laser aligned after fitting coilovers, the tracking goes out for fun due to the harsh ride too.

Custom exhaust is deffo the best option for the GTI :)
Most aftermarket exhaust manufacturers have stopped making systems for the GTI now due to its age and demand so a custom system is the best choice
