Yep, cheers m8,how's yours going? once it got built its fled. Apparently there's a customer who's waited longer than me for a car and it kicking off big style lol. Dunno if anyone else on here has ordered from Wolverhampton VW but a 3dr Gti in black came off the same transporter an is parked next to mine in the compound.

Yes its going ok. Minor problem with the media system but it's going into dealer for a few days to sort or replace it. Still enjoy the drive every time, it's a sexy little car. You'll love it.

I've just got news mine is arriving at the dealership later this week and should be ready for pick-up around Wednesday next week

After having a built by date of 29/10 for the past 3 months, I've just had updates through saying it's been built and will be with me on the 19th. Well chuffed!

How long has everyone's GTI taken from order to delivery in terms of weeks?

Personally I'm now on week 13 (from order) with delivery possible at the end of October. 16 weeks from order

Been a looong 13 weeks up to now! Better be worth the wait

Order placed on 10th August, confirmed build week this week, so that's 8 weeks to build week, and then add on 3-4 weeks for delivery, just comes in at 3 months which is what I was quoted. (3 door, manual, for reference)

I'm not commenting on the how many week thread lol

Ordered and deposit paid on 19th September, confirmed build week of 26th October and delivery, hopefully, by end of November, so ten weeks (ish) all-in?

When the car arrives at the dealership - what exactly is happening to it that it needs additional 2-3 days to be ready for pick up?
