You really should go back and get them to change it.
Sorry to say that after you've been waiting for so long, I can bet your probably chuffed jsut to finally get your car. But it will be worth fighting for what you want in the end. Give the dealer a real talking to!!! :x
if you end up wanting color coding later, it wil cost around £300, rather than the £80 (good deal) that VW offer as a factory option.

on a more positive note, hope you enjoy your new car! :D

I will be giving the dealer a talking too tomorrow.

It is the car I asked for because its got some of the options which are not usually specified - the remote central locking with electric rear windows, and height adustable seats (I have short legs :) ), and mfc were there. I guess I was just a bit too excited and I didnt realise until I got it home.

I'll be getting the options I paid for.. I wont stop hassling them till they get me em :).

I've just been taken it out for a quick drive again.. 4th time today :) got 67miles on the clock already from just vrooming around my local area.

I managed to stall it twice :( damn scary stalling a diesel, a big clunk instead of just no power like on the corsa... and even scarier on a corner - the power steering disapears mid turn :) that'll teach me to be lazy with the gear shifts.
