So my local car parts shop sells Wix oil filters... I posted on the VAG mail order section and not got a reply yet... so may just get a £5 Wix oil filter, do a quick change with cheap oil and maybe do another oil + filter change after 50 or so miles.... kinda following from Bstardchild's thread about oil change.
Or should I just get the oil changed without changing the filter and after 50miles with new oil then do an oil + filter change?

is there a German Swedish & French Branch local to you?

i usually get my service parts from them,you sometimes get genuine VW stuff too! Also, if you speak to josh, he has a uk-polos discount card :wink:

Dont think I need a discount for just an oil filter :D
Actually.. I might get spark plugs aswell :D

Has anyone used the Bosch super 4 spark plugs with 4 electrodes. Are they anygood. This is what they look like: http://www.chrisperfect.com/products/en ... per_4.html

I got them... but need to cleanse my engine first, then put them in with the service... watch this space.
Oh yeah... only about 40p more than Bosch Supers.... so unless you got like 30 cylinders you might aswell get them! :lol: :wink:
