Is anyone from here bidding on this? If they are I wont bid to try and keep the price low. IF someone from here wins could we come to some sort of (financial) arrangement and [cough] sort out a copy for me
as I only have the 2003/2004 version and all the roads by me have changed (M6 Toll) so im off road most of the time!!

Yeah save us all bidding against each other one person off here bids to win (or already has bid) and the some sort of arrangement can be made with maybe the chance of getting it in time for GTI!!
I can take my laptop with cd-rw if needed.

Yes, this is a better price than the chap that I bought mine from.
I've spoken to the chap and he is basically offering between 5-10% discount to uk=p members depending on which unit you purchase. I suggested to the chap to simply put up a posting of his website, which is
www.satnavsystems.com
You may have seen some of his auctions on eBay as he does sell via that route. The units are more expensive than some other sources (as I looked round myself) but I know one other Dubber who has bought from him and has no problems and I've had no problems myself. His name is Tom and is based in South-West London, he offers a 12 month warranty which basically swung it for me.
If any of you do purchase from him and receives the discount can you please post confirmation as I would like to know, this will help other members who may also be interested. Thanks.
