I went to my local garage today and the man was really tryin to think of some reasons why he wont do it for me, like labour involved cud cost up to £90, and even when its onm it might rattle and **** like that, but im going down friday morning n he will get it up on the ramp and check it out !
thats a bunch of s**t. i got mine fitted for £25 in under 15 minutes.

I managed to get a remus one which is a twin oval backbox
not too big, quite subtle looking, not too loud when driving but sounds awesome under load.
no mods to fit on either, so no cutting of the bumper.
Not the silly double backbox one either that u see on pony novas!

It cost me £45 for the exhaust and fitting. With a 3 Year Garrentee, its the bosch one, if thats how u spell it. £30 to fit it alone is a f*****g rip off..
Its quite hard jus to fit a tailpipe yourself if it still has the origional VW factory one on at the moment. They are all one peice so you have to cut it before the cat and re-atach it. Can be quite tricky!

Thats what modding cars is all about!!! I dont see the fun of taking your car into a garage to have them do all the work for you
