I believe the Polo GTI was only lowered 10mm than standard, not much really but I guess VW think it must make some difference.

wishing I had got the 50mm springs now :cry: just wanted my car sitting about my tyres getting rid of the gap.

motorworld. they are spax springs, motorworld talked me out of getting the 50mm one cos I would have to change other stuff. can some1 get a pic up off my car on 15'' lowered 30mm if poss?? :roll:

havn't got any lowered 30, but you can have one lowered 80! save up and get coilovers!

still some gap (and it's a mk4 i know) and that's about 50 or 60mm - never been quite sure as the chap who got the springs wasn't 100% sure either!

I think GMax ones are -60mm :)

dunno, got them now, in my boot. went to see a guy about fitting them today, he said £120, but think I can get them done for £80.

Not meaning to put ya off but a mate who got some 35mm eibach springs on his mk5 found that it didnt look too different from how it was as standard :shock: but they do tend to settle a tad bit after a bit of general wear. I was thinking of lowering my mk4 with the same springs, but now i have changed my mind and will save up so i can go for a better drop.

the boy in my work gor his bora tdi sport lowered 30mm and its sitting just abouve his 18s. said it'll be the same with mine.? :?

sup dude, just fitted Eibach sportline springs 30mm, there sitting over GTI shocks on standard 14" alloys. hope this helps

There's still a gap of about 3-4 cm

Definatley looks lower than standard and handles 5 times as better also more comfortable!

Ive heard lowering more than 30mm on standard shocks can result in a harsh ride!

I hears that too. well av bought them now and I've got a guy fitting them next friday. should have my wheels by thursday too. :D
