now ive been thinking about the tweeter arangement like karl suggested but i have the passenger dasjh airbag and i doubt many passenges would like a set of tweeters getting forced down their throat in an accident so ive come up with an alternative mounting... on each front door there is a mirror backing plate that i think i can modify to take 3 or 4 tweeters per side and then build some custom door builds for 16 and 10 cm mids then hide an amp in the boot inder the planned sub install and i think that might be able to surpass pain with actual injury
mid range recomendations

can any one see any obvious flaws with this idea?

You wont have access to the amp if you ever need it - and being under the sub box means the wires will probably come loose.

its not fun! amps under the passenger seat would be good - not as far for the power cable to travel - so less interference and a stronger current (less resistance from shorter wire)

Totally off topic but you insired me to rewire my living room amp the other day so im holdiong you responsible for this spiders webdes_pd_ tdi wrote: For AMP's money is the key, I recently spent £700 on a Myryad home amplifier as an upgrade to my old but good Rotel, the difference was £500 but there is so much punch and energy from my speakers now, it's as though you are forced to listen to everynote. Now this is a home system, I'd never dream of spending this amount of money on ICE but from experience you pay for sound quality. Listen to as many amps as you can before you commit.

however i sorted a few niggles and now i can play tunes at silly volumes in the car and at home
