what is the difference between the :

PHILIPS BLUE VISION ULTRA PLUS and the
PHILIPS BLUE VISION

which are the best ?

I bloody well have. While testing a Xenon it started to roll off the surface, so I had the bright idea to catch it. I didn't smash it, but I did get mildly eletrocuted and burned in the process.

Correct. The most powerful filament bulbs with E marking are Piaa. Here's some.

Do not use them "Note that these bulbs do not have a UV film coating on them as to allow the maximum possible output of light. " your polo headlight cover is polycarbonate which will craze with the UV at that temperature. As it is with VAG bulbs, the reflector bubbles at the top - go see yours!
