Thanks, i was hoping for something around that kind of figure, and if i do change it its not like im going to be looking for a quick sale so i'll be able to hold out for the right price.

just an idea at the moment though, not 100% sure if im going to be changing it

the german style plates were from www.dubmeister.co.uk (01275851069). they do all different types of show plates.
i had the white front and yellow back, instead of all white, ordered them on the monday and i had them the next day, think they cost almost Â£50, but i love them...

yes it has. they are just glued on where the originals used to be, just had to remove the 'plug' type things of the back, smooth and then fit.
i wanted to keep them and be different, as every car seems to have them removed, they are much narrower than the mk4 ones.

i'll try and get some taken either tonight or tomorrow, they are much smaller than the mk4 ones but still stick out to protect the door.
i had mine direct from VW, and they do either a black textured one (which is what ive got) or a primered one ready for painting, although if i remember rightly the ready primered one was stupidly priced at Â£40-Â£45each, the textured ones were only Â£17 each.

hey wils0n86 can you post a photo of the rear of your car in particular?? i want to see from a shorter distance how looks the mk5 rear lights on a dragon green 6n (this color really ROCKS
