Hi Neil,
Good to hear you are coming along to the Hot Hatch Spectacular on the 4th September and I have attached a club booking form for you. If you could fill that out and return it to me that would be your spot booked.
As you have not attended as a club before I need to let you know that cars do have to be up to a high standard to get in to the show area. That does not have to exclude anyone from coming with you but lets say you have 5 cars that you are sure would be up to scratch, then those guys would get access to the show area and the other 5 would be parked in the public car park areas. Any cars not looking that part will not be admitted on the day, so we ask the organiser of each club (looks like you) to bare this in mind when listing who is coming.
The club site is free of charge and the drivers of the show cars will get in FOC (passengers pay)
Any questions please give me a bell on 01383 723337
Cheers
sasha
Will i arrange this ? Not up to standard ... hmm do you think all out cars are up to it ? I need defo names if i am going to go ahead with the stand !!!
If you want to be on the stand , post a picture of your car !! Neil.

Are we trying to get a good range of Mks for the stand, or the just the best examples of Polos from this site for the stand?

Wonder how they will determain what is and isnt good enough.
They could consider a standard but very clean G40, Gti, ect as Not up to it because its standard looking.
Maybee they would like to see polo's that have massive Body kits & fancy paint jobs.
I'd like to go on the stand, but TBH i think they might tell me to F off.

I`d like to go on the stand but as willie says i think they will be looking for extremely modded cars with mad wheels bodykits etc etc

if we can`t get a stand we can just meet up somewhere then head up to knockhill in a convoy

cheers

I think if we all met up and parked up together it would look good.

OK. Meet in convoy and go for a day out
Should we have one or two meeting points ?
Say, we can meet at Glasgow Town Centre, start travelling and then meet up with other people on due course ?
Or should we , travel up - and meet at the nearest "Somerfield" then go the 1mile drive to Knockhill

(So we are all together in the car park)

Supermarket carpark near Knockhill sounds good for me and anyone else coming from up North. 'Cause I wouldn't go to Glasgow just to go back up the road to Knockhill again. Know what I mean?

Yeah , thats why we should have mini pit stops , to stop off and pick up other people on the way "up"
Do you know anywhere near knockhill (easy to find , and park ? ) and we can meet there and then go into knockhill ?

Hmm, off the top of my head I can't remember seeing a big carpark close by/on the way to Knockhill that would be suitable for a pitstop/swing-by-pick-up.
Anyone else know?

What about a meeting place in glasgow for the ppl closer to there, then convoy up and meet the ppl in kincardine then all convoy up from kincardine to knockhill together if that sounds ok?? We`ll need to decide where in glasgow and where in kincardine we`re going to meet tho

put your name down where your leaving from, but if anyone has any other ideas just say
LEAVING FROM GLASGOW ;
