I'm not sure what the grey badges are ?. I saw one on a VR6 the other day but I don't think it was a Highline car.
The Highline badge I have is two tone, ie it's black with a silver VW in it.

Was the Golf Highline a limited run model ?.

Yeah they are greyish, but then I'm a bit color blind. I'll check again to be sure.

The highline was a ltd. ed. model in Germany (perhaps the UK too).
