just checked out the tyres on mytyres, and as you say the eagle F1's are pricey but look good.

i then compared them to the bridgestone RE-720's and there at £50. on the reviews of the 2 types both done by reinforest (or something!) the bridgestones were better in all areas except 1 of the braking tests.

so cheaper and reviewed as better, sounds good.

polo2k seems to like them 2. the search continues!

never used the eagles but i have seen a set that failed in a big fashion after kissing a kerb and rather than doing the usual of a little hole for slow deflating it ripped the sidewall off
