My german num plates came through today, and ive got my smooth front end ready so im just awaiting my rear bumper and grille of ebay!

Cant bloody wait :x

Just cleaned and sanded it all down, heated some plastic over the major holes and then used p38 to fill it

I used about 4 passes with filler, sanding and spraying after each pass, to get it to where it is now and its still not perfect, I need an orbital sander really but i couldnt be bothered to buy one

I should also have used a mix of fibre glass resin to give it some strength as it will crack if im not careful but its not that important here as when the bumper is fixed on it should be pretty sturdy.

To finish off i just we and dry sanded the whole lot, primered and sanded again ready for paint

Ok what sort of plastic did u use? where did u buy it from? guess it would be alrite to use a blow torch on or did u use another method

As for the fibre glass factor thats cool - i may give it a go sumtime...me first fibre glass project will be takin place over xmas making up some customer speaker pods on me bro mk2 golf

Just normal plastic that was hanging around in the garage lol, i used a maked flame to heat it just past melting point and stuck it on, then warmed all around it gently till it had a decent seal

Well you can get some special bumper grade stuff but it was £££

Hence it was just normal :lol:
