There is a plugin for winamp which lets you show people what your listening too

MSN+ also does A LOT

Some of the stuff I use:

Tabbed chats (lots of windows are REALLY annoying)
Renaming of contacts (Long names are REALLY annoying)
Default text (stupid fonts and gay smilies are REALLY annoying)
The sound clips... some custom ones are hilarous (try www.mpsounds.net)
Auto away messages and custom status' (People who think im ignoring them are annoying

)

Theres loads of other stuff like locking it etc that I use as well and stuff that I dont use

If you use msn 7.5.... get it!
