i want to put a 120 speedo in mine, is that hard??

You can just swap them round. Although depending on which model golf you get the speedo from, it may or may not have the 2-switch oil pressure circuit that you will need. Not a huge problem though; you can remove this from the original speedo (its an L shaped PCB screwed to the backing of the speedo itself) and fit it to the 120mph one. Actually its probably best to do this anyway as sometimes the circuit can very for different model years.
With the smaller tyres, I think a 120mph speedo is a good call for you. It will over-read massively, so having 120 should give you a bit more room before you go of the end of the speedo.

what's with the hole in the top of the dial surround kris? and how did you do the silver coloured trim around the heater vent?

i got MK3 Golf GTi seats!!

and also the silver around the heaters was a bit of a accadent...
story goes that i sprayed it silver an it looked a little tacky..... so i put carbon fibre in the middle (to match carbon knob) and left the silver surround... and turned out quite well to be honest!
the hole is for additional lights becaues the lights i got in there are a little poop, but i blew the additional lights.... oooops. so there is a little hole there now.... but u cant see it, unless at funny angles! hehe
