I got my orbital polisher out on my mates cosmic black vr6 and buffed out his marks on his splitter (hit a kerb and it looked nasty) i used g3 compound
Then i used some megs 80 and 83 worked really well! im sure with the right compound/polish it'll hide well
Go to
www.detailingworld.co.uk and ask the experts they'll give you some tips not sayin they will go completely but its worth the ask!!

Really feel for you Chris. Its well s**t when stuff like that happens. I remember one day, i was looking for a parking spot and infront of me was a lady pulling into a free one. She totally misjudged it and scraped all the other cars rear bumper and lifted it up out of position.

I quickly parked mine and walked over to where she was but she'd done one. Just pissed off leaving the damage. Unfortunately i didn't get the reg.
Some people have no respect, and should all be taught a lesson!
Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

I saw a similar incident to M@Turner, some woman in a big 4x4 went into a space, hit the car next to her, reversed out and sped off

I should be going to Pod too - I'll take a look at it if you want as i have a polishes and compounds along with a porter cable polisher, may have seen me posting on detailingworld.co.uk if you checked it out.
When you say you filled it with black gloss - do you mean the touch up paint or normal paint? Sounds stupid question but just not sure about the way you worded it.
