Only thing is I'm away this weekend so might not get it all done till next week now. Thought about doing it on a night but its quite a big task to undertake. Probably best to start it with a full weekend ahead of me because from experience of my previous modded cars it never goes to plan!
Gettin ready to pimp my ride Lol!

Ronal's arrived yesterday afternoon, just collected them from having tyres fitted and the look well nice. I've had a few sets of aftermarket wheels but the quality of these is absoloutly superb. And only £319 from a guy in Germany of eBay. Brand new and boxed sent direct from Ronal! Just suspension now I'm waiting for. Hopefully won't be long though.

i would never do a big job like uspension fitting at night time...even with artificial light your vision will be poor. Natural sunlight is so much better, good luck with it all! took me most of a saturday to fit my coilies, but i did have alot of tea breaksSAM_MK4_19D wrote:Thought about doing it on a night but its quite a big task to undertake. Well I finally done it guys. Got the wheels on and lowered her on Saturday. Got all the lights fitted now. Just need to get the tracking, cambers etc checked out on Wednesday for peace of mind. Once I know they are ok then i'll be able to fit my snap off steering wheel (daren't do it before in case it ends up off centre on Wednesday!). She looks superb in my opinion and i'll get some pics up as soon as possible.

Ok it worked I can officially upload piccy's!!!
Here's my polo pics.
Here she is looking pants from the back:

I then sat my self in front of my PC and built up a selection of tasteful mods using ebay and a few other places. The deliveries came and started building up.
Tyres

Ronals mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ronals & Tyres mated by my superb tyre fitter and lugged around by my trusty 200bhp barge!

Ok Ronals on looking dashing with those gorgeous orange indicators and 4 foot high suspension!

Grille swapped for de badged one. Weird the following day people just moved out of the outside lane when I approched!! Just from a grille. If only I had the power to follow it through. She's all smoke no go!

Looking a shocker from the back. Mmmm nice lights!

Getting there.

Black now were talking.

Yummy orange side repeaters had to go.

Thats better clear jewel.

That sorted her out for a bit. Then I had to sort out the toyota skylux style suspension!!!!

Right suspension arrived 60mm kit. Purchased a £15 gazebo WRC stylee seeing as it was a bit drizzly and I couldn't get in the garage for my 19 year old bro's Westfield.
Essential Gazebo!!!!

Work begins:

The kit:

Old struts out. Stripping them down was piece of cake with my bro's ryobi impact driver!

Then built up the new fronts:

Complete:

Sorted:

Oh my god she's low. Front -60 rear standard!!!!!!!!

Nice

Ok enough looking time to do the back!

Strip:

Build up new:

Fitted! If only it was as easy it looks in the pics!!! Never start with out a big can of good old WD40!!!!!

Ok time for a wash now! More piccy's to follow guys.

A couple of pics next to my mates birds standard polo for an Idea of whats been done:

I think the transformation is spot on. Subtle. Didn't want a chavtastic job! Hope you all approve.

My Motors together looking Fine!

Currently on with the interior:

Been de-badged and getting ready to finish and refit the gloss black badge:

Just got to get my cracked windscreen fitted then I can fit my smooth armed single wiper and get the windows tinted in light smoke. I'm well happy with her. Can now drive with pride!!!
