Just had my cambelt done today with water pumps. at a vw specalist cost me £269 which i thought wasnt pad with tensoner belts etc.

What do these cars need changing when mileage reaches 30k. Mines only got 28k on it. I just bought some Mobil one oil for it. Gonna have a bit of a clean up on saturday and fit my new Filter. Hope it sounds like my K&N.

My cars a 2001 Y Reg, with just over 33k on the clock now, thought id best get the done. better saft then sorry is my moto. The garage said that the water pump did not need replacing and called me, but i said to change it anyway (£21). Might just be in the might, but the car does pull a little better and runs smoother from cold.
