You should be able to touch that up yeh with the touch up stick mate no problem, may have to do it a few times though. Your paint code should be in the boot, under the lip/cill thing where the boot lock is there should be a printed sticker there with the code on.

Hi,

I tried Halfords touchups and they're never quite right.

I got some VW paint the other day 1x touchup pot and 1x spray can, prices were:

1x touch up £2.32 +VAT
1x spray can(150ml) £4.89 +VAT

These were for Pistachio Green, so as you have a metallic color it might be slightly more.

The paint was a far better match than Halfords in my opinion and yes, the touchup pot's brush is hard to use so I got a thinner fine brush from an art shop.

The paint code is usually found on a VW white sticker in the boot under the carpet where the spare wheel is kept.

When ordering at VW main dealers they can take your registration number to double check the paint code you give them to assure the right paint. Ordered in it only takes 3days or so.

Hope that helps,
Mo :D

I'm lucky in the fact that there's a paint place in Bedford who made me a can of Reflex Silver in about 10 minutes 8)

Whereas VW have to order it in.
