well where does the L model come into it that must mean mine shouldent have anything electric.

I thought it went L (base model) then CL (next one up with e/m, c/l, e/w pas etc) and then GLX (with all listed previously with a bigger engine??)

thats how i thaught it was but then got confused when i have the L model but have EM PAS and airbags but no leccy windows or CL (i have now retrofitted them)

What year is your car? If its a later model then maybe PAS and airbags were put on the whole range to try and sell more? Im not sure.

99 one of the last mk4s to be made before the facelift version

maybe your car has all the extras on because it was one of the last of the line mk 4s? thats the only reason i can think of
