gti splitters are fairly easy to fit, definately a DIY job, if i remember correctly!! was nearly 4 years since i bought and fitted mine!!lilpee123 wrote:Also how hard are they to fit?
if i remember, there are 2 star top screws on the inside of the front arches. when u've undone these then i do believe its a case of clipping the old one out then clipping the new one in!! then putting the star screws back in!!
may take a bit of elbow grease (or 2 people to make sure its lined up neatly) but its definately a DIY job!
i like it unpainted (like it was on my old silver polo, i had black side bumps etc) but i must admit, it looks fantastic sprayed like on mr. madness' car and a few of the other members cars!!!
at the end of the day, its personal preference and whether u have the funds available!
