Hi,

That's not my car. I prefer putting the GTI front splitter on mine.

This car is from a friend over from the dutch polo forum. I Really love his BBS

The part number for the splitter is Seat Et nr: 6K0 805 903E ( but you should double check)

I asked him about how easy it was to fit and this is what he said:
The number of the lip is 6ko 805903E, it is called here ( in the netherlands) a CUPRA lip....
it sits also on a 1.6 sport from 1998......

it is not a straight fit you must modify it a little bit.....
you have to cut all the lips of it and screw it, and you must shorten the ends because a seat bumper is larger.....

I hope you understand me, and don't be affraid to just do it, when you start with it it all becomes clear how to do it, just look and fit and look again and make the adjustments and fit again.....

SUCCES ( good look ) Polo98....
And it should also fit the 8v bumper.

Hope this helps

You can also use the small lip on a Mk2 Gti Golf, witha bit of shortening it just srcews to the bottom of the black plastic on the bottom of the bumper (8v that is). im gonna do that when i get a hold off some.

Chris,
