Yes he did have 17"

Personally i think 17" wheels on a polo look fine - and id say they suit my car. Im down 50mm and little rubbing. Going for coilovers next month.

how much rubbing can i expect if i have the car dropped 60 and sitting on 17s (205/40/17)?

You will definetly need arch work done if you drop the car 60mm.

My car is dropped 35mm and will be an extra 20mm at end june but im getting arch work. Will be dropped 55mm in total.

Yes, and sold it 2 weeks or so after fitting 17s :D
