If you only plan to lower it exra for shows I wouldnt worry about the camber.. As long as you reset the height back to exactly where it was. A 20mm drop shouldnt put the adjustment out noticeably.

I never got the camber set on my Golf (was always one of those 'must do' jobs...) because the only local place that could do it was in Essex!! The car was so low that the digital gauge thingies wouldnt fit under my arches! I used to go through a front set of tyres every 3 months..... So a small drop of 20mm wont scrub your tyres too bad (not enough to warrant having the camber set up every time) as my Golf was lowered over 90mm.

Just remember that you do have to raise it again!!

Chris, I don't exactly know how low I am at the moment (since I forgot to take any measurements) but it's pretty low. I have about 60mm of thread left, and I'm considering to raise it about 20mm.

Here's a pic that shows my giant cell phone. Notice that my right front wheel is in a dip in the driveway. It's at least a centimeter higher on a flat road.

That's looking pretty low there Alex !. The GTi splitter adds to the effect  .

I want some of those KW's. Purple and Yellow will suit my red car a treat !!.

Yeah I'm well pleased with them.

Mind you, I have a very big phone. Mileage may vary.

Got Supersport coilovers on my Mk4 16v, they are a great buy, had various other makes inc GAZ and Avo's and had problems with them. In my opinion you dont need adjustable damping for road use, its jus a Polo not a F1 car! If you wana go low on a budget Supersport are where its at.

As regards to the supersport coilies, i got a set last july for my mk1 golf, they are great for going super low, not maxed it yet though the chassis legs are about 2" from the floor!!!

The car isn't an F1 car so don't need every kind of adjustment available. Just wanted to go low for everyday use and super low for shows and the like.

Am impressed overall with them and the service when i bought them. Took 3 days to get them as i picked them up from venoms home addresses

Thumbs up for the Supersport

That sounds cool Tallika :D . Not sure how much longer I'm going to keep my car now so I don't really want to spend too much on it.

If I do decide to get coilovers though it will be these or the budget FK ones.
