I had the same prob with shorted nuts when i put the BBS' on, but luckily we had a full set of shorted nuts sat in the garage that my dad had bought by mistake and hadnt returned them. I tried mine with the longer nuts and was gutted when it didnt move, felt like the handbrake was on all the time, but luckily its all sorted now.
