Yep. BBS RX2 16" 4x100 were fitted to the Golf cabriolet. They're quite rare now but they are out there!

are you sure -60mm will be low enough?
i suppose if you have friends (unlike me ) then the extra weight will lower it even further!
and you won't get any rubbing at 60mm either so i guess its all good
