Springs are engineered to act particular ways, the top of the strings are different to the bottom and middle, so if you simply cut the top ones or bottom ones off they wont behave correctly.

I really canot get my head around why anyone would want to do it whne the springs and shocks are only 140 off ebay.

I echo the other comments really, if you were meant to cut springs then nobody would buy lowering springs they'd cut their own.

It's a hell of a lot safer just to buy some.

so after that nice little safety notice about cutting springs does anybody know wher i can get -60mm springs to fit onto my -40mm g-max shocks eh? wot do you think about that :lol:
