I am from norway, end I am building a 1976 polo to be used on racetrack-days. It is supposed to be hardcore racing exept from the outside, which will be old school. I wanted to build a differen engine, and decided on using a 3f engine from polo 2f with 75hp. I have bought a set of 4x32mm motorcycle mikuni carbs, and have started the process of building the engine as it is winter..

the question is if anyone of u has pics. or any experiences on this area ? please be in contact..

thanks

it is a hydro 3f engine with 75 hp. With the 4 motorcycle carbs, the new exhaust manifold and a cam, it will be doing 90-100hp.. Nothing too big, but good enough to have fun :)

I have also treated the complete underside of the car with coating.. the next step within the next day is install the fueltank, rear beam and sidewings.. I have also gotten a deal with a friend of mine so that I can sandblast the engine room and the inside of the floor.. It is lovely to see some progress finally..

hy mate, haven't heard for a long time
nice to see progress on your polo, you're doing it well! love your battery tray, I'm thinking about something similar on mine, but perhaps more forward, under the rear bench, where the reservoir used to be (plan to put battery on one side, and smaller reservoir on another)

cheers
