Cheers
It's difficult to polish the standard Mk 3 steel rocker cover. Instead you could have it shot blasted then powder coated to give a nice smooth durable finish. In fact I have one done in black that I might sell.
Another option is to get the alloy rocker cover like Krupa has and polish it. These are much easier to polish and they look good as you can see.

thats... just... too shiny.
far too shiny to hide under a bonnet
thats the sort of engine you should buy a pyrex 'window bonnet' for
wowza
whats up with that bright metallic blue one though, wheres the warm air pipe? thats gonna be a bugger to get running well in winter and something's gonna fall in
i think i'll take a pic of my bay just to scare you all. its seriously skank. in fact it's skank, ming, and crudtastic all in one neat package. probably take about a month to clean up

if u haven't got any hot air going to ur air filter, in winter ur manifold will freeze thus thus making it difficult for air to pass down.
i've seen a manifold freeze on a tvr with weber conversion!
and yes it does get hot in traffic, as would every thing else!!! coz there's no air being forced into the engine bay!! but it soon goes cold again.
